UUID Generator

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 6, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how UUID Generator Pro handles data when you use the browser-based UUID generation tool.

Client-side UUID generation

UUID Generator Pro generates UUIDs directly in your browser. Random UUIDs are created using browser cryptography, including the Web Cryptography API where supported. Generated UUIDs, validation input, namespaces, names, and export data are not sent to a UUID Generator Pro server for processing.

Local storage

The tool may use your browser's localStorage to remember local preferences and convenience data, such as your theme or dark-mode preference and recent UUID history. This information stays in your browser unless you clear it, change browsers, use a private browsing mode, or your browser removes it.

Server data

UUID Generator Pro is designed as a static, client-side tool. We do not operate account registration, server-side UUID storage, or server-side UUID generation for this site. Standard hosting infrastructure may still process routine technical information, such as IP address, user agent, requested page, and timestamps, to deliver pages and maintain security.

Google AdSense and cookies

This site may display ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can learn more from Google's advertising policies and controls at Google Advertising Policies and Technologies.

Your choices

  • You can clear localStorage and browsing data in your browser settings.
  • You can use private browsing modes if you do not want UUID history or theme preferences retained after the session.
  • You can manage ad personalization through Google and your browser's cookie settings.
